Brief
"Create an experience to showcase our Ancora Fashion Show"

"Mind-bending and Puzzles"


Design Overview
This experience took place in a magical art gallery where players were tasked with jumping into the paintings and solving the puzzles within.
Once the puzzle was solved the player earned a piece of clothing to dress the hologram mannequin in the lobby (shown far right)
Once the player dressed the mannequin they earned a Limited UGC Item (4 total)

Puzzle Ideation
This portion was a blast to do. Our team would sit in a voice call and throw out any ideas that sounded fun for the players.
We left a lot on the cutting room floor but the process taught me a lot about building off of each others ideas to make the best one.
We all left our pride at the door which is the only way to make this work.

Cutting Room Floor Idea

I was very into the idea of players needing to bend light off of mirrors in order to light up crystals.
This is the basic idea that turned into the video above about getting the Gucci Hat

Players were to find the correct icon around the map and then submit them onto the Obelisks(Clocktowers)

Design Challenges
The Brief got shifted a couple of times during the production process.

But the solution was quite simple...
"Keep Creating"

As a game designer a shift isn't something to worry about especially when you and your team had a well of ideas ready to go.

Design Rewards

This was my most rewarding project for a simple reason.
​
Players were helping one another to complete the puzzles.
The rewarding part about this is that the UGC items had a limited quantity.
So we had players completing the challenge and then helping others to do the same

It was a very positive ecosystem for limited Gucci Items.

"The Finale"

Find all of the mannequins and place them on the correct pedestal... but its not that simple. Every mannequin had a color and icon which had an intricate order of which pedestal they needed to be placed on
